Our Principles

A set of five principles guide and shape our programs in their implementation and end goal.

These principles are:

Love – We encourage loving our neighbors as a way to reconcile our communities.

Relationships – We link people together to overcome barriers such as discrimination, prejudice, poverty and lack of communication that limits individuals and entire groups.

Restoration – We seek to walk alongside children and their families as they rebuild their lives from negative consequences ranging from isolation to neglect.

Reproduction – We strive to continuously build and develop the next generation so that it can carry out the work necessary to achieve its mission.

Service – We focus on giving each person the opportunity to give back even as he or she is being helped; we focus on developing ownership and empowerment so that the person can change old patterns of behavior and pull up others as he or she rises up.
