Musical Recital Scheduled

Saturday4Arts next recital is April 28, from 10am – 2pm, at Ekklesia Miami church in Kendall. We’ll have nearly 35 youth perform two to three songs on the guitar or piano.

Our 10-week program offers piano and guitar instruction for children between the ages of 9 and 17 under the direction of professional musical teachers.

Saturday4Arts also focuses on building life skills. Emphasis is placed on raising self-esteem and improving social skills of each participant, as well as building an understanding of dangerous behaviors, including the use of drugs, alcohol and tobacco products.

In addition, parents of participants take educational classes to increase their knowledge of how best to communicate appropriately with their children and how to gain basic skills to run
a household and provide for their families.
