Family Resource Center
The purpose of this and other programs at The Family Life Center is to teach scientifically and socially-researched methods to improve communication, intimacy and patience among family members; strengthen the self-esteem of children since they are very young; and complement the education of the family members, making the Family Resource Center available to them.
The FRC contains printed materials, videos and workshops carried out by different professionals in family relationships, health, stress management, training to work with disabilities, employment search, immigration matters, tax reporting, management of finances at home, purchase of items of primary need, time management, vocational courses and college studies, professional counseling, religious instruction (optional), etc.
The majority of the programs are free for the participants, since organizations such as The Children’s Trust cover a large part of the costs of carrying out high-quality programs.
